- Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC): DSGII actively pursues and maintains accreditation with PCNC. This is a voluntary, self-regulatory body that certifies NGOs and Foundations meeting established standards for good governance, financial management, and accountability.
- PCNC accreditation is a prerequisite for our registration with the BIR as a “Qualified Donee Institution,” which allows donors to claim tax deductibility for their contributions to DSGII. This is critical for our Funding Strategy (Section 7.1).
- The PCNC process involves a rigorous evaluation of our organizational practices, financial records, and program implementation, serving as a seal of legitimacy and good NGO housekeeping.
